This is a great post. The timing was perfect for me too. There are things like this that we can know at certain points in our lives and yet so easily forget over time. Thanks for sharing this!!!

Funny. This reminded me of this quote by Cyril Connolly: "Truth is a river that is always splitting up into arms that reunite. Islanded between the arms, the inhabitants argue for a lifetime as to which is the main river."

This site grew from an original idea centered around gratitude. I believe it is a great starting point and centering energy for much spiritual exploration. Thank you for this post!

Sleep is so important to a balanced life for me. When my sleep is off, it's the first sign something else is off. Good sleep brings awareness and answers to otherwise impossible situations for me.

The key in this, from my perspective, is the twist where you take your "don't wants" and CONVERT them into higher powered wants.
All "don't wants" are really wants. This is the contrast. The key is to focus on the wants. Open to what you want to come to you.
Nice post.

A great step by step that will help you discover the beliefs that you have that are limiting your ability to manifest what you want in life. Great job Belle :)

This is a great submission... I was very inspired by Miguel Ruiz' book The Four Agreements. That little book gathers a great deal of wisdom into four simple guiding principles. This article beginds to explore one such nugget - the idea of being impeccable with your word. There is much power in the Word. By paying attention to how you use your Words, you are tuning yourself in to how you use your power.

That's right,
The Universe is not responding to what you say, but to what you mean and feel on the inside- thank's for the positive comment

This is a great post - and really does "explain away" a common barrier people have when first encountering the law of attraction teachings.
It is NOT about always being HAPPY and SHINY. Is NOT about being fake.
Sure - you can fake it til you make it on some things, and it can be one way to feeling better... but the LOA works from the inside out, not the other way around, in my opinion.

This is a great example of how little things can have a BIG ripple effect.
The most important words - and maybe the hardest to achieve - in my opinion, are "don't filter and don't judge" when making your fun list. Guess that says a lot about me, huh???
Love this submission... would be fun to see some of the items from people's lists here!
Here are a couple from mine off the top of my head:
* skipping stones at the river with my kids
* bike rides
* finding and eating wild strawberries
* taking in the beauty and power of a summer storm
* watching live music of almost any kind

I found this article very helpful. The examples used did make it easier to understand, and easier to put the LOA to work.

I interpreted this on a different level. As hard as it may be to accept certain things that has taken place in our lives, good or bad, we must experience it to get us to where we are today. Everything DOES happen for a reason! For example, if my Mother had not passed away I don't think it would have brought my brother to create this website, which could or has changed another's life.

This video turned into my morning meditation while I was watching it. Perhaps more precisely: My focused (non)-attention was unfolded to all possible focus points and then became one singular point itself. Whew! Reminds me of that meditation where you imagine looking at the back of your own head, and then back up to imagine yourself looking at the back of the previous head, etc until you are looking at ten heads all looking at the back of all the prior heads.

It all sounds good and I agree with most of it, however what good can come from the loss of a parent or two? Hmmm, maybe stronger relationships with siblings? Nice, but just not the same.
